Here in Northern Virginia we don't get much snow (well that is just my opinion being an Idaho girl where it can snow in July sometimes). So, that being said, I schedule family sessions all through October not thinking twice about the snow. Sure enough this year we got a really weird snow storm and I had to scramble and reschedule appointments.
We photographed the next day and you wouldn't have even guessed that we had snow on the ground the day before. I think the pictures turned out lovely.
