Colors of the Season (Northern Virginia Photographer, Northern Virginia Child Photographer, Northern Virginia Family Photographer)

Not only do we have the beautiful colors of the fall leaves but we have a beautiful colorful family.  I love how wonderfully all these colors come together.  It is so rich looking! 

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph 3 generations together.  It is such a wonderful blessing to have a picture that will be such a treasure for generations to come. 



Beautiful Big Brown Eyes (Northern Virginia Baby Photographer)

My heart just melted over these beautiful big brown eyes.  This little sweety had a little giggle and the biggest smile that would just pull at your heart strings. 

We started with her fun little costume for Halloween.  Just like a little stuffed animal right?  So cute and snuggly.

 Oh how I love hats!  Such a cutie pie. 

 Mom and Dad jumped in for a couple of the pictures. 

 This picture, I wasn't quite ready for but I got it!  I was still setting up but it was just so adorable! 

The BEST Family! (Northern Virginia Photographer)

It was such a pleasure to photograph this family.  They are the BEST family ever in more than one way!  If you know this family, you know why.  :)  I am sure they have heard this very thing many times too. 

Honestly, there were so many pictures to choose from, I had a hard time choosing which pictures to post.  There were so many cute playful ones and then there were so many nice posed pictures too.  So forgive me but I couldn't decide, so I posted some of both.

 When I was taking this picture, I was telling the family that it was so perfect, it belongs in a magazine somewhere.  That is just my opionion though. 

 Now it is this little guys turn to pull his parents. 

I think this one is one of my favorites.  Just look at the joy in everyone's eyes.  That is true happiness right there.  :)

Do you know what is so much fun about taking High School Senrior Pictures?  All the energy and fun! 

Oh it takes me back to when I was a High School Senior.  It seems just like yesterday.

Family Family Session (Northern Virginia Family Photographer)

Here is a family session I took and it is of my family, well extended family.  You know, I don't even know for sure what to call them.  I mean, I know they are family and I call them cousin.  In actualality, this is my cousin's daughter's family.  So is it my 1st cousin once removed or my 2nd cousin. 

Oh well, whatever their official family title is, they still are my kin folk.  :)

I think the location was great!  It is unfortunately in Idaho but if anyone would like to fly me back home to take their family photos, I would be more than happy to photograph them.

Buckland Mills Elementary School Fall Festival (Northern Virginia Photographer)

I had the cool opportunity of participating in the Buckland Mills Elemenatry School Fall Festival this year.  I was taking pictures of the families and the festival.  Though I don't have permission to show the pictures of all the families, I do have the permission to post these two kiddos......

Here are my boys enjoying the Buckland Mills Elementary School Fall Festival.  You can see my youngest enjoying some candy.  My oldest was doing the same but at least he seemed to hide it pretty well. 

They had a great time as well with all of the games and  bounce houses.

Add a Little Whimzy (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

I have shared ideas in the past with people I have photographed.  Sometimes you will find those willing people to go with some of my ideas, no matter how crazy they are.  Well, let me just tell you how estatic I was to see all these fun balloons show up for our photo session!  I think it paid off.  I have to thank the family again for bringing the balloons because they are AWESOME!  Now if I could just talk a family into all wearing tutus.  For some reason my boys don't want to do it for our family pictures this year.  :)

Oh my, oh my.  This little guy came over for his little photo shoot and he was just simply adorable.  He was so happy and carefree.  He was wiggling and moving, testing out how his arms and legs work.  Oh man, I just loved hanging with this one.  I told his parents they could just leave him with me and go out to lunch cause he was just so happy.  I am sure glad I got to hang with him and his parents.  It was so much fun. 

 I have ALWAYS loved this hat!  Just dying to use it.  I think it looks even better on than what I thought it would.  I kid you not, if I could, I would be sporting the same hat.  Hmmmm, I wonder if I can?  :)

Oh my goodness, this little guy is such a sweety.  He is simply just adorable.

Funny thing about this little guy was he just did not want to have those sleepy time pictures.  He was wide awake for most of the photo session.  That's ok though because he has these amazing eyes.  Just look at him.  He is just so cute, I can't wait to hold him again. 

Ok, so I was able to get one sleepy time picture and it was with his older brother.  Look at the Miles face, you can tell he just adores his little brother.  I just adore both of these little guys.
