It is that time of year again for my friend's children to have their birthdays! 

It has been fun to watch these children grow.  I have know this family for 3 years and they have gotten so big.   You just don't realize how much you change until you take a look in the past. 

I love the bright colors the family dressed in and the location was full of bright colors too.

This little man has just hit another milestone.  He is the big 9 months now!  He is one of the happiest babies I have seen.  His smile lights up the room.  He is very adventurous and didn't want to stop moving. 

During this photo session, we had a few "themes".  You have so many options of what to be when you grow up in front of you, the problem is, this little guy makes them all look good. 

So, let see, should he be a world traveling business man, a fireman, or a cowboy? 



So Sweet (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer, Northern Virginia Child Photographer)

 I am not even lying when I say this family was so sweet.  There was some real cutesy family loving moments that weren't even coaxed.  They were just so sweet.  There were a lot of snuggle moments with the little kids and real sincere loving and touching moments. 

This picture is very sweet and sincere.  There were so many of this part that I had a hard time choosing which one to post, but here is my selection....



Picture Party (Northern Virginia Photographer, Headshots in Northern Virginia)

Well, I had my first ever Picture Party and it was a blast!  Everyone had such a great time!  All the girls glammed it up and put on their model faces then worked the camera. 

In case you are wondering what a picture party is, it is when you get a group of people together for mini sessions at a discounted price.

Cutie Patootie (Northern Virginia Baby Photographer, Northern Virginia Newborn Photographer)

Would ya just check out this little cutie patootie?  She is the sweetest little thing. 

It has been awhile since I have got to play with a little newborn girl.  I was so excited to pull out all of the girly stuff.  I think these all are just so precious.

The Heartbreaker (Northern Virginia Baby Photographer, Northern Virginia Family Photographer)

These parents are in BIG trouble!  Oh my goodness their son is going to be a heartbreaker.  He has the most beautiful eyes and he is quite the character too.  The boy has charm!

Seriously, there were so many great pictures it was hard to pick my favorites, but here they are:

Hee, hee, this picture sure makes me laugh.  Every time I look at it the words to a song pour out of my mouth. 
Can you guess the song?  "I'm too sexy for this hat, too sexy for this hat."  Just so stinking cute.



Spring Family Pictures (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

I was fortunate to go to a lovely location for this family session.  It was quite stunning to walk this property.  Everywhere you turn there was another secret little garden.

We were able to take advantage of a beautiful archway for most of the session. 

I don't know what it is but it seems my most recent photo sessions have been in the cold.  Oh well, it will make for a great story for the grandkids one day.  Whenever they will look at the pictures they will talk about how cold it was and no one will believe it because they look so good!  :)

One of the cutest things (well, I thought it was cute) that was happening during this picture was the little baby was pulling his big brother's hair.  Oh my goodness the baby thought it was the best thing in the world!  See, there is another story that the grandkids can hear about this picture. 

Isn't this just the sweetest thing.  I love the archway and the sweet little smiles.
