The Heartbreaker (Northern Virginia Baby Photographer, Northern Virginia Family Photographer)

These parents are in BIG trouble!  Oh my goodness their son is going to be a heartbreaker.  He has the most beautiful eyes and he is quite the character too.  The boy has charm!

Seriously, there were so many great pictures it was hard to pick my favorites, but here they are:

Hee, hee, this picture sure makes me laugh.  Every time I look at it the words to a song pour out of my mouth. 
Can you guess the song?  "I'm too sexy for this hat, too sexy for this hat."  Just so stinking cute.



Spring Family Pictures (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

I was fortunate to go to a lovely location for this family session.  It was quite stunning to walk this property.  Everywhere you turn there was another secret little garden.

We were able to take advantage of a beautiful archway for most of the session. 

I don't know what it is but it seems my most recent photo sessions have been in the cold.  Oh well, it will make for a great story for the grandkids one day.  Whenever they will look at the pictures they will talk about how cold it was and no one will believe it because they look so good!  :)

One of the cutest things (well, I thought it was cute) that was happening during this picture was the little baby was pulling his big brother's hair.  Oh my goodness the baby thought it was the best thing in the world!  See, there is another story that the grandkids can hear about this picture. 

Isn't this just the sweetest thing.  I love the archway and the sweet little smiles.

What a beautiful couple huh?



Fun with Washington D.C.'s Cherry Blossoms (Northern Virginia Photographer)

Growing up in Southeast Idaho I didn't care for spring too much because it is muddy, cold, and everything was DEAD!  There was not a spot of color around until summertime (Sorry to all of my family and friends still living there, don't hate on me). 

I love spring here in D.C. and Virginia.  There are so many glorious colors everywhere!  Oh, and the cherry blossoms are to die for. 

Well, during one of the glorious days before the blossoms disappeared, my friend and I had a bit of fun taking pictures.  I love how they turned out. 

With this picture, I wanted it to look like a painting.  I added some texture and some brush stokes and I love how it turned out.

I love this picture because you can see more of the blossoms.  I love the lace and the umbrella too.  They add a femine quality to the softness of the picture.

Now He is 9 Months Old!!!

Well, he just keeps growing and growing but he is doing it so well and so cutely too!  His little personality is coming out too.  We had a fun filled photo session filled with monkey business, football, a car ride and a horse ride too.

Oh ya, this little guy is standing on his own and even walking just a little bit.  Oh, did I mention he is ONLY 9 MONTHS OLD.  He is ready to explore this world of ours for sure!

Oh my little friend (Northern Virginia Baby Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

Oh, I have this sweet little friend of mine.  He has been my little friend before he was even born.  I must say he has been one of the anticipated births of my life and now.....he is six months old.  I am lucky to call his mother one of my dearest friends and because of that, I get to have another child vicariously through her (LOL, you didn't know that did you my dear friend of mine). 

Well this sweet little guy is now 6 months old and I can't believe how fast the time has flown!  Now I will be missing him and his family while they are visiting their "real" family for a few weeks.  :) 

So, here are a few pictures from his 6 month photo shoot.  They are adorable......

How could you just not fall in love with his gorgeous eyes? 

Ah Oh!  Just kidding, he was actually gazing over to his wonderful mother.

Seriously, how can you not just want to scoop him up and hold him?  Well, lucky me, I get to do that often.  :)

Hee Hee, this little guy was way excited to be holding this cute little sock monkey.  I love his hat and all of the colors here.

Believe it or not, I have been very busy these last few months.  Although I can't post all of the photo shoots I have had, I have had quite a few.  I am excited for the sessions I have coming ahead and I have already done a couple that I will be working on these next few days.

Winter Wedding (Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

What a wonderful winter wedding!  It was freezing outside but you would have never even known it.  This couple was so great, in spite of the cold we walked around and had a great time photographing.

Little Peanut (Northern Virginia Newborn Photographer, Northern Virginia Baby Photographer)

Ok, he obviously isn't a little peanut but he just so little and cute, you can't help but to call him a little peanut in the most endearing voice ever!  I think this is tiniest baby I have ever photographed.  Oh, he was just so wonderful!  He had so much dark hair and beautiful eyelashes.  Then he just slept so good.  I know I say this all the time but I just could've just held him all day long.....well until it was feeding time and then I'm afraid I couldn't help much but until then, oh, he was just so snuggly.

I love sock monkeys.  They are so classic.  It makes this little guy seem so big but check out the next picture and you can really see how cute and small he is.

Just look at this little munchkin!  He fit inside an adult baseball glove!  I just love it!



Oh I love the colors here.  As you can see, I have yet another fun sock monkey but this one has a little spunk to it.  :)
