Just So Sweet, You Got to Pinch Them on there Cheeks (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

These pictures are just so sweet.  Not only are the pictures sweet, the family is just so sweet too.  It has been such a joy to work with them for the last 3 years.   I think the pictures just turned out so beautiful. 

Next time you see this family, you should pinch them on their cheeks just because they are just so cute and fabulous!

It's not always fun and games in a family......or is it?

A lot of people ask me for my opinion with their photo sessions.  I love to brainstorm and throw out ideas.  I get strange looks from my clients at times but then other times they totally go with it!

I can't take all of the credit for the photo session there was some fun ideas that rocked from them as well. 

This is such a great family and I loved working with them once again!

I Had to Look Away!! (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia High School Senior Photographer, Battlefied High School)

I finally got the opportunity to photograph in one of my favorite locations this year.  This location is tricky, there have been a few times I have gone there just to find it closed.  I have even sent e-mail requests to make sure it was open only to find special events happening there. 

Well, this time everything worked out!  I think the pictures turned out great!

It was such a pleasure working with this family.  I love their light hearted spirit and there humor.  They even humored me by listening to my lame jokes. 

At the end of the session these adventurous children decided to climb the wales of this old building.  At first I was in awe and even got a couple of pictures and then I just had to look away!  I am TERRIFIED of heights and watching them climb higher and higher hanging onto hardly anything made me a little anxious.  I had to politely say goodbye and LOOK AWAY! 

Good report though, everyone was fine and dandy and even returned again to climb some more.

I just love this time of year when families get together.  It is such a joyful time to spend the holidays together.  I think the pictures turned out so nice, just as nice and wonderful as the family was. 

It turned out to be such a great day for pictures.  The weather was so wonderful. 

Seriously, these are this little angels real eyelashes.  There was absolutely no photo manipulation done what so ever to them.  Aren't they just GORGEOUS?  She is such a sweety pie.

There is nothing like having a forever connection with your family.  No matter what you do in life or where you move or go, you will always have family.  I still have fantastic memories of spending time with my cousins.  Some of them lived close and some of them I only have seen a couple times in my life but it is incredible how much you have in common through your parents. 

These cousins were so cute.  They just were so close and so willing to help each other out.  They laughed and had a good time with each other.

This family is near and dear to me. We have LONG history. 

This couple was my first wedding job here in Virginia.  Now don't get me wrong, I have been photographing a while before moving here to Virginia but being my first job here and staying such good friends is so great!  What will the future hold????

Spring Family Pictures (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

I was fortunate to go to a lovely location for this family session.  It was quite stunning to walk this property.  Everywhere you turn there was another secret little garden.

We were able to take advantage of a beautiful archway for most of the session. 

I don't know what it is but it seems my most recent photo sessions have been in the cold.  Oh well, it will make for a great story for the grandkids one day.  Whenever they will look at the pictures they will talk about how cold it was and no one will believe it because they look so good!  :)

One of the cutest things (well, I thought it was cute) that was happening during this picture was the little baby was pulling his big brother's hair.  Oh my goodness the baby thought it was the best thing in the world!  See, there is another story that the grandkids can hear about this picture. 

Isn't this just the sweetest thing.  I love the archway and the sweet little smiles.

What a beautiful couple huh?

Yes, yes, yes, I am still here.  Just working like crazy and loving it!  Had a couple of issues with my computer, darn that technology.  You gotta love it though.  But I am back up and running again.

Anyway, here is one of my photo shoots while the whole family was together again over Christmas.  It has been a little while since everyone was together, so you gotta get a picture of that.  Who knows when they will all get to come home all together again.

I had the pleasure of photographing the young couple for their wedding just over a year ago.  I can't believe it has been that long, now I get to photograph the entire family!
