I love LOVE (Northern Virginia Photographer)

It was a spectacular photographing day!  It made the forest seem enchanted.  The couple, the lighting, the weather, the leaves, it was just all so perfect. 

Murray and Melanni were so sweet and fun and in love.  I can't help it, I just love love.  It is all ooey gooey and wonderful.



Peter Candland for Supervisor

How exciting and thrilled I was when I was asked to photograph an up and coming SUPERVISOR of Gainesville, VA.  That's right, Peter Candland is running for Gainesville District Supervisor.

I love photographing people with no fear for an adventure.

The family was even willing to go deep in my forest for an awesome family shot.

 Oh, I just love the lush green tones in this picture.  It is so beautiful.

Do you know what was great and wonderful about this shot....OK, I won't keep you guessing anymore.

The two youngest children were perfect.  I am not kidding, this was the actual shot, all smiley and fun. 

The family was just great in spite of all the muggy weather. 

This is so very nice.   I love couple pictures so much.  Don't both of them look great?

Here are their cute children, again, it can be challenging to get little kids to smile at the right time but BAM! 

They all look so good!  Just love it!!!

Maternity Portraits (Northern Virginia Photographer)

This was just so fun and so beautiful.  I think being pregnant is such a glorious experience and I love that it is celebrated and what do we do with celebrations?  Photograph them to have the memories for generations. 

I just love how reflective this picture is. 

 I wanted to give a vintage feel to this picture.  I also love the glow of this, just like a mother to be is glowing. 

As I was getting ready for the photo session, I was letting my creative juices flow, trying to think of what I could do a special and unique.  My mind wondered off onto a picture I have seen many times but couldn't quite remember exactly what it looked like.  I took the picture and thought I would research the painting after the session.  So, here is what I came up with.  It was inspired by "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt.
