BEAUTIFUL Spring Photo Shoot at the Blandy Farm,

So here is the family photo session I was talking about. 

Growing up in Southern Idaho, I never understood why people thought spring was so beautiful.  It was always muddy where I grew up.  Now is lovely Virginia it is just so gorgeous you can't help but to be filled with joy.  I do love spring, I do, I do!

Now to this fabulous Family Photo Session.  I just love the family dearly, they are some of the most awesome people to know.  You are just always so happy when you are around them.

So here they are....

Just look at this view here at the Blandy Farm.  Just stunning isn't it?

I wish this family picture could capture the floral aroma in the air.  Seriously, this was such a perfect location. 

I wanted to skip and sing "The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Music". 

You don't have to wait till fall to get amazing colors here! 

I hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I do.  Even looking at them now it brings a big smile to my face.

Family Session at the Blandy Farm, Northern Virginia Photographer

It was an amazing day at the Blandy Farm in Boyce, VA.  The flowering trees were just beautiful.  The meadows were even springing up flowers.  It wasn't too hot, it wasn't too cold. 

I truly love this location.  There are so many possibilities there. 

I have just finished up editing a family photo session there. 

I wanted to share a photo that was taken there. 

Hee hee, I know it isn't a family photo but it sure is pretty isn't it. 

Modelling in Virginia, Northern Virginia Photographer,

I sometimes have a hard time just taking the requested picture.  I always have to "play" a just little more.  Case in point, I was just requested to take a couple of headshots for a fabulous actor/model, LaTise Edrington. 

One headshot was to be for acting:

and another for modelling:

It'll be hard to decided which picture to use because I love this one too.

But the fun didn't stop there, I had to try something different, something artistic.

 I think this picture is so powerful!  It is like BAM!  It just hits ya.

This picture is so sultry, I just love it!

Aaron and Kortni Wedding

Tucked away in a beautiful marina in Woodbridge, I was able to capture a lovely day for Aaron and Kortni. 

My day started at STATEMENTS ON THE WATER, where Kortni and her bridesmaids were enjoying the exceptional service and skills of the staff there. 

Liz Kalipi, had the honor of doing Kortni's hair.

 The location was at Harbour View Events.  It is along the Occoquan River in Woodbridge, VA.  It was just so peaceful and charming.  It was a wonderful backdrop for this wonderful wedding.

  There were so many beautiful details that were at the wedding. 

The cake by Cakes by Megan, was not only exquisite but it was delicious too.  Everything on the cake was edible, including the flowers.

Don't you think Kortni's bouquet is just gorgeous.  They were done by Flowers 'n' Ferns.

The day was so wonderful!  Aaron and Kortni were so great.  It was such a pleasure to be with them and their families.  The details were so wonderful and thoughtful.

ECPI Nursing School

ECPI Nursing School Graduation

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the most recent Nursing School Graduation for the Northern Virginia ECPI campus.  It was a wonderful ceremony full of honor, pride, tears of joy, and laughter.
One of the classes decided to go "old school" with their uniforms and I took the opportunity to create the photo "old school" as well.

These two sure made it fun to goof off a little bit. 

It was a cold day in Haymarket, Virginia when we decided to venture out and take some pictures.  I think in spite of the cold weather, we got some pretty fun photographs. 

 Micah has quite the arteestic abilities here!  :)

It makes the picture all the more personable.



Buckland Mills Elementary School Spirit Night

I just had the best time being a part of Buckland Mills Elementary School's Spirit Night Family Dance. 

There were a lot of cute families and a ton of fun.  The music was great and I even did a little "Running Man" dance move in-between family photos.  :)
