It's birthday time! (Northern Virginia Photographer)

As a parent I am always telling my children to stop growing up but just like every child out there, they never listen to their parents. 

That is one of the many reasons I love pictures so much, it freezes that moment in time and I can always remember my little ones even though they continue to get bigger.

I love birthday pictures!  It is a statement of who you are at that moment in time.

Here are the most recent little ones that aren't so little anymore because darn it they keep growing.

And yes, their birthdays are all very close.

This young man is just that, a young man!  He was flexing his muscles and showing me how grown up he is throughout his pictures.  It was great fun.

 Whew! This little man was very agile.  He was climbing everything!  It was hard to get him down out of the trees. 

This young lady is not a stranger to this blog.  It is crazy to watch the stages of her growth throughout this last year. 

 Now this little guy already had his birthday pictures taken but we couldn't leave him out on this session and isn't he just adorable?  You would've never guessed that he fell into the creek about 20 minutes before this picture was taken.  Quite a funny story really.  I always tease everyone to not fall in the water unless I have my camera ready for the picture of that.  And like I said earlier, children never listen.  This little guy went in when I was taking pictures of his brother.  Oh well, at least he was smiling for this picture.

 It was a difficult decision on these two pictures.  They both look so good, so good luck mom on deciding which one to hang on the wall.

 This picture below, I swear you can smell the flowers with her.  I love this picture. 

 It is hard to believe that it has been a year since I have photographed little Eli.  It is also so incredible how much growing these little babys do in a year.

Gorgeous Stone Bridge at Bull Run (Northern Virginia Photographer)

It was a tempted day down in the swamp lands of Manassas.  The air was heavy and wet with humidity but we somehow managed to get these awesome pics of these cute little kids.

Whew! I am not lying when I say my shirt was soaking wet from my sweat this day but the humidity didn't seem to bother the children.  They actually did remarkably well in spite of the circumstances.
