Oh Behave! (Northern Virginia Photographer)

I know it's not normal, I know it's not allowed, but sometime you just have to!

Now, I wouldn't let this happen inside of my house but outside, that is another story.

I love the young spirit of this picture.  Come on, isn't it worth it to have them jumping on my couch?  Don't think that this will be the last time I let someone jump on my couch. 

Now here is the sweet side of them too.  :)

We had so much fun taking these pictures. 

Oh BOY! (Northern Virginia Photographer)

I haven't had a baby boy photo shoot in awhile but it was sure fun.  This little guy was born a little early but he was sure strong.  The way he was kicking around, whew, I can't imagine what kind of flips he would've been doing in his mama's belly. 

There are so many pictures I just love with this photo session, I can't decide which one is my favorite.

I heart belly bumps! (Northern Virginia Photographer)

It is just my humble opinion but these pictures ROCK!  I heart them so much.  Oh my goodness, this photo shoot was so much fun!  Not only was it an awesome session, it was with my awesome friend!

Not only is she just adorable but she is amazing at so many things.  Not only are we friends but I stalk her!  Well her crafty blog that is.  You should check her out at Freckled Chic.

Lil Miss Cutie (Northern Virginia Photographer)

If I could only get away with this wardrobe at my age, you know I would be rockin them all the time.  Alas, I must put my inner Diva away and only show a little bit of sass in my outfits. 

I tell you what this little girl is so adorable.  We actually got this photo session done in record time as far as baby shoots go.  Don't get me wrong she let us know when she was done but her sweet daddy also has a few tricks up his sleeve to get her soothed and back to sleep. 

Here is another one of those pictures where I couldn't decide which way I liked it better. 

But really, how can you not love either one of them. 



Big Beautiful Eyes (Northern Virginia Photographer)

This sweet little baby was not in the mood to sleep at all.  She wanted to watch everything.  She was just over a week old when I took these pictures and normally that is when a baby will sleep the most.  Not this little girl.  She is so strong too.  She was holding her head so well and moving her arms around like crazy.  But is was just simply adorable. 

Her eyes are just so big and beautiful.  Just gorgeous!

I was finally able to get her to sleep.  It was at the very end of the shoot and she finally snuggled down and went to sleep.  I just love this picture.

I can't decide which version I like better, so I will let the parents try to figure that one out. 

The Grandkids

And here are the grandkids.  Their families live on opposite sides of the country, so it isn't often you get an opportunity like this. 

As many of my friends know, I love Virginia.  I think it is so beautiful and it creates such beautiful backdrops for these types of photos.  

Sweet Little Girl

Just look at how adorable this little baby is.  She was so easy and wonderful to photograph.  I got the sweetest little smiles and the cutest little napper too.

I hope you enjoyed the first set of pictures.  My next post will be with all of the grandkids.

Such a sweet little girl.  I just loved holding sweet little Brittany.

Just look at this precious little smile she has on her face.  She is just so adorable. 

Here is another view but just still so adorable. It took us a little while to get this sweet princess to sleep but when we did, it is just so heavenly. 

I just LOVE this little hat.  Seriously, I need one in my size.  You have to check out this hat and other adorable hats and headbands at Get Your Craft On shop. 

 Here is yet another beautiful creation by Get Your Craft On shop.  The flower headband really created a vintage feel to the picture.  I think it turned out gorgeous if I do say so myself.

There is nothing like those sweet tender mommy momments.
