Oh my, I've just realized it has been a little while since I have logged on and posted anything.  But don't think it is because I have been sitting back eating Christmas cookies and drinking hot cocoa. 

It has been a busy season but I love it!

Tis the Season for Family!  This is the time of year when families get together.  I find it very touching to be a part of it. 

Mmmmm, when I arrived to this house for the photo session, it felt like Christmas.  There was the smell of the Christmas tree and the cooking in the kitchen (my tummy is literally growling as I think of it).  Even the house was so warm and inviting and yes, it felt like Christmas. 

I had a wonderful time taking the pictures and even Santa drove by on the Fire truck.

Making the Girls Swoon! (Northern Virginia Baby Photographer, Northern Virginia Photographer)

This little cutie pie is such a good looker, he had quite the entourage of girls.  I'm not kidding.  He had seven ladies there all swooning.  Well if you count me, I guess it would be eight girls swooning.  (I won't mention that all the girls were family, except for me that is but we were all gaga over this guy) His eyes are so beutiful you can't help but to just fall in love with him.

Sure it was a gloomy day BUT it didn't stop the smiles!  Considering the rain that started to fall and the wind that was blowing, I think we got some pretty great shots.  Of course I was making the girls do some jumping jacks to stay warm.  :)

Alas, most of the leaves are gone off the trees.  You can find a few still left here and there but not many.  So what do you do?  You BRING IT!  You show the fall who is boss and you make the colors come to life!

I just love the hat too.  I love the texture and quality of it.  It really does make a difference in photos by all of the cute little hats and such.

Isn't he just so cute, precious, and tiny.  It is so wonderful to have a picture of your little baby at this stage because in just a week or two they have already grown so much more.  It is great to have pictures to reflect upon. 

OK, I just had to add this picture.  It truly brings a smile to my face and a little giggle.  It is truly funny.  This was the last picture taken of the day and I couldn't have planned it better.

It gives a whole new meaning to "Rock a bye baby".

We Captured Those Colors Before They Were Gone! (Northern Virginia Family Photographer, Nothern Virginia Child Photographer)

I find that the best time of the year to capture Virginia's beautiful fall colors is the last 2 weeks of October.  BUT, we were able to still capture some of the fall's glory before mother nature cleaned house.

This dear sweet family is such good friends of mine.  I don't know if they keep coming back to me because they like what I do as a photographer, or if they are just my good friends and I am so fun to be with :).  I would like to think both!  I am just playing around (mostly).  But for real, it is a pleasure to work with this family.  I don't know what their mother does to make them behave so well during the photo session but she is good!  I need her to be the child whisperer for my kids.  :)
